What Youll Do:
- Support major land projects such as mineral lease expansions unitization agreements acquisitions exploration agreements and infrastructure development and maintenance.
- Ensure alignment with Nutriens standards and expectations.
- Interface with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including landowners local and provincial governments contractors and utility companies representing the Company with uncompromised integrity.
- Follow standard processes and procedures to uphold quality control records management and contractual integrity.
- Prepare land contracts using templates. Verify that contracts meet the needs of both internal and external stakeholders and engage with Legal Counsel as required.
- Facilitate approvals for contract execution.
- Oversee contractor assignments using project and case management tools for enhanced communication. Engage with appropriate internal stakeholders as required informing of any important developments.
- Track spend within capital and operational expenditure budgets and identify opportunities to effectively manage the budgets.
- Support the development of processes and procedures for land and contractor management. Advise on best practice and procedural effectiveness.
What Youll Bring:
- Bachelors degree or diploma in Land Management Business Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- 5 years experience as a land professional legal coordinator or related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered.
- Professional licensing or designation considered an asset.
- Familiarity with construction agriculture and commodities-based industries considered an asset.
- Knowledge of legal contracts and land management.
- Demonstrated accountability.
- Tactful and effective communication skills with a variety of people and organizations.
- Drive to provide excellent internal and external customer service.
- Commitment to continuing professional and personal development including the pursuit of courses and seminars that enhance and maintain expertise.
- Strong computer & software skills with proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Ability to adapt to changing timelines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
