Job Title: Social Media Specialist
Location: Stevens Point WI - Corporate Office
Starting Salary: $42824.35 - $47106.79 (wage to commensurate with experience)
Expected Start Date: January 12 2026
Are you a creative communicator with a passion for digital storytelling Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and love connecting with audiences online Skyward is looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing team!
What youll do:
As our Social Media Specialist youll be the voice behind Skywards social presence. Youll:
- Manage and grow our social media accounts (Facebook Twitter/X Instagram LinkedIn YouTube)
- Create and publish engaging content-text images video and more
- Develop and execute paid campaigns across platforms
- Monitor trends analyze performance and report on KPIs
- Collaborate across departments to ensure brand consistency
- Engage with followers respond to inquiries and build community
- Travel occasionally to capture and share live event content
What youll need:
- Degree in marketing communications or related fieldor equivalent experience
- Background knowledge of social media in a professional or corporate environment 2-3 years of experience preferred.
- Strong writing editing and proofreading skills
- Graphic design skills are a plus!
- Proficiency in social media management tools and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of the K12 education landscape is a bonus
- A creative organized and collaborative mindset
