Job Summary
About this opportunity :
This position is responsible for materials management functions including: Shipping Receiving distribution of raw materials housekeeping sanitation purchasing data entry inventory control and waste handling in compliance with cGMP standards at the Milford Site. Material Handler III will direct work of other staff while working under minimal supervision. Candidates must be willing to work towards a hazardous materials certification if they do not already possess one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving incoming raw materials
- Distribution of raw materials to manufacturing
- Housekeeping
- GMP documentation
- Stocking and control of Gowning supplies
- Stocking and control of Lab supplies
- Control of charts/records
- Purchasing and Inventory Control
- Tank farm operations and waste handling
- Final API labeling packaging and shipping
- Transfer of materials between buildings
Required Skills/Abilities:
- High School diploma or GED
- 2 Years Materials Control experience
- Ability to work effectively with numerous internal and external customers from a variety of departments/suppliers/customers
- Understanding of cGMP chemical handling and basic lab safety
- Must be able to complete tasks of various levels of complexity with high degree of accuracy
- Ability to lead and train less experienced staff members
The annualized salary range for this position is $61300.00 - $75000.00.
