Job Summary
PC&L Specialist 3&4
Objective
Schedule the production of the different operational areas (internal and with external suppliers) based on the requirements released by customers in their different portals. As well as to follow up on the scheduling and fulfillment of shipments to customers to guarantee operational continuity in the different engine plants we supply.
Main Responsibilities
- Enter customer portals to answer shipment promises and tickets in the different portals of our customers.
- Schedule production according to the material requirements released by customers in their portals in order to maintain operational continuity in the engine plants we supply.
- Track compliance with our operations production schedule
- Schedule and track shipments to customers taking into consideration the dates on which our products should arrive at the plants we supply.
- Generate the sales forecast at different terms (weekly monthly quarterly) based on the requirements released by customers.
- Schedule and request the supply of molten aluminum to guarantee production in our molding areas on a weekly basis.
- Forecast the consumption of molten aluminum with a horizon of 12 weeks in the future to support Centro Fusor in the efficient purchase planning of the different aluminum alloys.
- Trigger the process of generating Delivery Plans to generate shipment remittances to customers.
- Support the open activities of a production programming nature and shipments to the New Programs department.
Position Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineer Mechanical Engineer or related careers.
- Skills: Organization and attention to detail Communication Customer orientation Interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in Production Planning and Customer Service Lean Manufacturing
- Proficient English
