Job Summary
ARHS Group part of Accenture is looking for a Virtualization Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team supporting one of our major clients in this role you will be responsible for managing and maintaining enterprise-grade virtualization environments ensuring performance reliability and scalability across VMware and Nutanix platforms.
THE WORK:
Administer maintain and troubleshoot VMware vSphere 8 and vSAN 8 environments.
Operate and support Nutanix hyperconverged platforms (ESXi & AHV).
Monitor and optimize system performance using VMware Aria Operations.
Automate recurring tasks and workflows via VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator.
Manage VEEAM backup and recovery operations for virtual environments.
Handle ITIL-based ticket workflows including incidents events problems changes and service requests.
Perform upgrades patching and capacity planning for virtual infrastructure.
Document configurations procedures and troubleshooting guides.
Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to ensure operational excellence.
HERES WHAT YOULL NEED:
35 years of hands-on experience with VMware and Nutanix virtualization platforms.
Strong knowledge of vSphere 8 vSAN 8 and VMware Aria Operations.
Proven experience working with Nutanix (ESXi & AHV environments).
Familiarity with VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator for automation and workflow design.
Practical experience with VEEAM backup & restore in enterprise environments.
Solid understanding of ITIL processes (incident problem and change management).
Strong troubleshooting communication and documentation skills.
Relevant certifications such as VCP-DCV Nutanix NCP/MCP are a plus.
Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
On-call availability: mandatory rotation covering 7 consecutive days including weekends.
