Job Summary

Responsibilities

Job Description

The Network and Security Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day operation security and availability of the organisations network infrastructure ensuring compliance with our Eurosystem security standards. The role requires close collaboration with infrastructure system and application teams to maintain a secure resilient and high-performing network environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and process network firewall proxy and remote access requests through the ticketing system ensuring timely resolution in accordance with SLAs and security policies.
Perform continuous monitoring and supervision of network and security equipment to ensure availability performance and early detection of incidents or vulnerabilities.
Install configure and maintain network and security infrastructures including switches routers firewalls VPN gateways and proxy solutions.
Administer and troubleshoot firewall platforms (Palo Alto Check Point) and ensure proper rule lifecycle management access control and security posture.
Manage remote access solutions (Ivanti VPN Gateway) ensuring secure connectivity for internal users and third parties.
Work closely with Windows Unix and Application system administration teams to diagnose and resolve network- or security-related incidents in complex multi-tier environments.
Ensure full compliance with our Eurosystem and internal security standards participating in audits controls and remediation activities when required.
Contribute to incident management and root cause analysis implementing corrective and preventive actions to strengthen infrastructure resilience.
Maintain update and produce technical documentation including network diagrams configuration guides operational procedures and security policies.
Support the implementation review and continuous improvement of network security policies standards and best practices.
Required Skills & Technical Environment
Strong experience with Cisco technologies (routing & switching) and Catalyst Center for network management and automation.
Hands-on expertise with firewall technologies such as Palo Alto and Check Point including rule management and security policy enforcemen
Experience with VPN and remote access solutions specifically Ivanti VPN Gateway.
Knowledge of network security solutions including McAfee products.
Solid understanding of network switching segmentation and traffic control.
Proven ability to produce and maintain clear structured technical documentation.
Strong troubleshooting analytical and communication skills in French and English.
