What you will be responsible for:
- Planning and organizing driver routes optimally to ensure maximum use of the truck fleet
- Assigning routes to drivers (in-house software)
- Responding to internal client calls efficiently courteously and professionally
- Entering information into the computer system to document calls and follow up appropriately
- Serving as the drivers point of contact regarding work hours and resolving issues if any
- Weighing trucks on our scales and integrating the data into our system
- Processing customs paperwork requests (USA drivers)
- Maintaining and tracking inventories in our supply yards on a daily basis
- Performing all other related tasks
Qualifications :
To join our team:
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
- You are capable of managing complex problems to find the best solutions
- You have very strong analytical skills
- You have extensive knowledge of the geographic regions of Quebec Ontario the Maritimes and Maine
- You are available outside of working hours to manage driver emergencies
- You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office and dispatch software (Samsara)
- You are bilingual in oral and written communication (an asset)
