Job Summary

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our Canberra team a close-knit group of passionate professionals who genuinely care about each other and the community we serve. Whether its morning coffees friendly table tennis games or collaborating on complex cases with a spirit of curiosity and care the Canberra team is known for its warm supportive culture and strong multidisciplinary expertise. As a Rehabilitation Consultant here youll be surrounded by colleagues who lift each other up and youll be equipped with tailored training tools and mentorship to help you thrive both professionally and personally.

As a Rehabilitation Consultant some of your day to day includes:

  • Case management (caseloads are manageable and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks) 
  • Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcome and partnering with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
  • Partnering collaboratively with injured workers employers medical and allied health professionals
  • Completing a variety of assessments using your clinical and discipline specific allied health skills such as Functional Capacity Evaluations Worksite Assessments Ergonomic Assessments and Activities of Daily Living Assessments.

Qualifications :

Youll be a driven and energetic professional with hopefully all of the qualities below!

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Full Professional Registration with AHPRA or eligibility to apply
  • Fabulous communication skills - there is a lot of getting to know your clients and stakeholders
  • Compassion and kindness always go a long way as does empathy
  • Its the kind of career where well developed time management skills are a must & plus
  • A current valid Drivers License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is a must.
