Our Instrument Control Engineering Team uses cutting-edge technology to design gas and steam turbines compressors and expanders.

As a Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing work at a field site providing quality service to the customer. He/She will provide the planning necessary for the job including instructions to the crew and equipment used.
As a Field Services Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Performing in autonomy the Installation and/or Maintenance activities of PGT5 PGT10 MS5001/2 MS6001 MS7001 and other Rotating equipment in the Field at Customer Site.
- Performing minor/major maintenance of equipment following the Baker Hughes Service Site Quality Check Lists and procedures.
- Providing Technical supervision and advisory service to the Customer Representatives and Site Team to coordinate activities at the Customer Job Site.
- Executing all required responsibilities safely by following all Baker Hughes Service applicable processes and procedures.
- Providing expert troubleshooting on the equipment under maintenance and/or installation in the Field.
- Conducting all business activities in accordance to Baker Hughes Core Values (HSE Quality and Compliance).
- Performing other related duties as required according to the specified scope of work.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
- Have a valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate (please indicate clearly on resume)
- Minimum of 8 years experience mainly specialized in PGT5 PGT10 MS5001/2 MS6001 MS7001.
- Capable of carrying out the following activities without supervision:
- Minor Inspection on PGT5 PGT10 MS5001/2 MS6001 MS7001
- Hot Gas Path Inspection on PGT5 PGT10 MS5001/2 MS6001 MS7001
- Major Inspection on PGT5 PGT10 MS5001/2 MS6001 MS7001
- Commissioning activities on PGT5 PGT10 MS5001/2 MS6001 MS7001
- Be able to provide the planning necessary for the job including instructions to the crew and equipment used.
- Must have Excellent Functional / Technical Customer Focus Communication Interpersonal and Team working Skills.
- Capable to work offshore.
- Be able to travel flexibly at short notice and be away from your home location for undefined periods of time up to 70%.
