Under the general supervision of the Manager Parking Services and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital the Parking Attendant is responsible for: assisting with the operations of the St. Boniface Hospital parking system to include: patrolling lots daily; ensuring the cleanliness of lots and safety of customers; responding to calls for assistance by casual or contract parkers; visually inspecting automated parking equipment and performing regular routine maintenance and troubleshooting of same; notifying Manager or Parking Office of any safety concerns maintenance required or equipment malfunctions that require further follow up; conducting lot counts and making suggestions for improvements; cashing out parking systems; printing credit card summary reports; providing assistance to parkers by directing traffic at peak times; redirecting casual parkers to available parking spots when lots are full; and performing other related duties as assigned.
