Summary of Position
Become a member of our team as a Data Entry Specialist tasked with the precise and prompt recording and upkeep of essential company information. You will assist various teams by inputting verifying and structuring data within enterprise systems ensuring confidentiality while enhancing data quality and workflow efficiency.
Principal duties
- Precisely input data from both paper and electronic sources into databases CRMs or spreadsheets.
- Assess and authenticate data for thoroughness precision and uniformity; rectify inaccuracies or highlight inconsistencies.
- Harmonize data across systems and conduct regular audits to ensure integrity.
- Sustain systematic electronic and physical filing systems; digitize and catalog documents as required.
- Produce and disseminate regular reports and extracts for internal stakeholders.
- Adhere to standard operating processes and data security/privacy protocols consistently.
- Work with colleagues to resolve data problems and provide enhancements to processes.
- Achieve daily and weekly productivity and quality objectives while assisting with ad hoc initiatives.
Skills:
- Elevated typing velocity with exceptional precision (e.g. 50 wpm preferable) and meticulous attention to detail.
- Competence with Microsoft Excel (including fundamental formulas and filters) and familiarity with database/CRM systems.
- Fundamental data validation and quality control methodologies.
- Exceptional organizational time-management and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication.
- Acumen in data protection and confidentiality best practices.
- A problem-solving mentality and an eagerness to acquire new tools or methodologies.
- Proficiency in keyboard shortcuts and data-entry automation programs is advantageous.
Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; an Associates degree or above is desirable.
- Preferred: 13 years of experience in data entry administration or clerical work.
- Familiarity with CRMs ERPs or specialized industry databases is advantageous.
- Previous experience in positions necessitating precision and confidentiality (e.g. finance healthcare legal) is beneficial.
