Job Summary
Schedule: Sunday through Thursday 11 PM 7 AM (Training may be on 1st or split 1st/2nd shift)
Overview:
We are hiring a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician for our 3rd shift operations in Devens MA. This role is critical for keeping plant production equipment running efficiently and safely. You will troubleshoot repair and maintain both mechanical and electrical systems to maximize uptime and support smooth plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on plant machinery and systems
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce equipment downtime
- Install service and modify electrical wiring conduits and control systems
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics blueprints and technical drawings
- Assist with fabrication plumbing welding and other general maintenance tasks as needed
- Follow OSHA fire electrical and company-specific safety standards
- Collaborate with the maintenance team management and vendors to support plant operations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and safety training
- Complete the required monthly online safety training
Qualifications:
- 5 years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent technical school training plus hands-on experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems including AC/DC motor control PLCs pneumatics and hydraulics
- Ability to read schematics and perform detailed troubleshooting
- Experience with networked systems and industrial computer hardware/software
