Location: Cincinnati OH 45219
Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Shift: Day Shift 4x10s (7:00 AM 5:30 PM) or 5x8s
Pay Range: $30 $40 per hour

Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Surgical Technologistfor an exciting job in Cincinnati OH.

Responsibilities

Review daily assignments and surgical preference lists to ensure readiness for procedures.
Prepare operating tables and verify all instruments and supplies are available and functional.
Obtain special instruments sutures and equipment as required by the surgical team.
Assist the surgeon under direct supervision including suctioning retraction irrigation cutting sutures and assisting with skin closure.
Circulate for operative procedures under the supervision of an RN.
Assist with site care application of dressings and patient transfer post-procedure.
Properly handle clean and send instruments for sterilization and terminal cleaning.
Maintain patient confidentiality and advocate for patient dignity and safety throughout all stages of care.
Demonstrate sound judgment professionalism and effective communication with physicians nurses and other healthcare personnel.

Education & Certifications

Required:

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Education Program OR
Minimum of 3 years of Surgical Technologist experience within the last 5 years.
BLS certification (American Heart Association).

Preferred:

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA or
Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) through NCCT.
