Job Title: Senior PMO

Term: 6 - 8 months (with possible extension)

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT

As a Senior PMO this project will support consultation in implementing advanced credit scorecard solutions for a leading bank in Saudi Arabia (KSA). The initiative forms a key component of the banks broader credit transformation program which aims to transition from traditional underwriting practices to machine learning driven models.

You will play a pivotal role in project management ensuring effective coordination across technical teams seamless data integration and the successful deployment and validation of new scorecard solutions. The role requires close collaboration with IT risk and external partners driving alignment across all stakeholders.

This engagement is critical to modernising the banks risk management and lending frameworks enhancing decision accuracy operational efficiency and overall portfolio performance.

Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Lead and coordinate technical project management activities for credit scorecard implementation in banking/financial services environments
Oversee cross-functional teams (IT risk data engineering consulting) to ensure timely delivery of project phases
Manage project plans requirements gathering data mapping and orchestration for scorecard models (application behavioural and collection)
Consult with client and third-party vendors to align on technical requirements platform assessments and deployment strategies
Support model validation testing and operationalisation ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory standards
Provide ongoing PMO support reporting and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle

Knowledge and Experience:

8-10 years of project management experience in banking or financial services with a strong track record in technical PMO role(s)
Demonstrated experience managing complex data analytics or credit risk projects (ideally involving scorecards or ML models)
Proven ability to coordinate across IT risk and business teams in a regulated
environment
Effective communication stakeholder management and problem-solving skills

Mandatory Skills:

Strong ability to manage large-scale data and analytics projects particularly those involving model deployment and system integration across risk IT and operations
The ability to synthesize technical model performance and credit risk metrics into concise decision-ready reports
Proficiency in presenting insights through dashboards or executive decks and in bridging the gap between data science outputs and business decision making

Preferred Skills:

Experience in consumer risk or credit risk management
Arabic language skills
Experience working with banks across GCC region
