Job Description:

The opportunity

To build a Responsible for administrating consulting and/or negotiating product/service contracts with external customers. Develops pre-sales contract strategies and works closely with marketing sales and business management teams to structure proposals/contracts/bid documents. Negotiates contracts that are consistent with business objectives and engages in contract amendments and renegotiation to accommodate scope changes. Ensures fulfilment of contractual obligations from contracting parties. Responsibilities may be included. Managing projects / processes working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.

How youll make an impact

Formulates competitive bids/estimates/quotations considering the best available product mix and appropriatetechnical and commercial considerations for each individualsituation.
Ensures tenders are well documented in a timely manner and with appropriate level of detail including full andaccurate cost.
Manages the preparation of all technical (e.g. defining the mostsuitable technology and product type(s)) financial (e.g. total.
price sheet cash flow analysis) and if necessary projectmanagement (e.g. quantifies hours of engineering andcommissioning) aspects of the bid/estimate/quotationindicating prices and trading conditions.
Identifies potential risks in the bids quotations and estimates and in any related contract agreements acrosscustomers/channels.
Provides information and/or participatesin the Risk Review process in accordance with Hitachi policy.
Identifies potential vendors for equipment and materialsand required in the project and technically evaluates supplier offers to check matches with specifications.
Collaborate with SupplyChain Management to coordinate requests to subcontractors.
Responsible for collecting information neededto prepare the proposal including both technical and costelements.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background

Bachelors in electrical engineering.
5 years experience in electrical substation field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
