Duration: 3 Months (may extend)
Job availability: 40 hours per week
Employment: Freelance consultant of (Mayflower Language Services Pvt Ltd)
Payment Terms:30 - 45 days from the date of invoice. (after a month confirm on the number of hours worked once confirmed by the clients create an invoice which would take 30- 45 days for you to receive the payment.)
Years of experience: 10 years
Interview process: 1st round assessment (online) 2nd round task test (online)
Job Description:
About the Role:
Were looking for an experiencedTechnical Writerto lead instruction and task design for GenAI and Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) programs. Youll collaborate with researchers engineers and product teams to create clear actionable documentation that drives high-quality data collection and training outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of task instructions templates and best practices for GenAI projects.
- Partner with Product Areas to define data needs and design effective unambiguous rater tasks.
- Author edit and maintain rater guidelines task design guides and quality rubrics.
- Develop internal training materials and knowledge bases on instruction design.
- Translate complex technical details into clear and practical documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- 10 years in technical writing or instructional design preferably for HITL or rater platforms.
- Strong grasp of task definition principles and documentation best practices.
- Working knowledge of HTML Python Markdown Git and data analysis.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and deliver clear content for diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters in Technical Communication Instructional Design or related field.
- Experience with large-scale evaluation or crowdsourcing platforms.
- Familiarity with AI/ML data labeling and analysis for continuous improvement.
