About the role
This role is a key part of the Building Maintenance - Reactive team within City Presentation. The carpenter will plan prioritise and carry out building maintenance across Councils building and facilities to ensure they are safe functional and well presented. The position requires a trade-qualified experienced carpenter who can work safely and efficiently using Councils mobility devices and adapting to future technology enhancements. The role involves working from any of Councils depots supporting flexibility and multi-skilling across the Building Maintenance - Reactive area. A commitment to ongoing training and skill development is as a multi-skilled carpenter with the ability to undertake a range of internal and external maintenance and repair works such as but not limited to painting plastering tiling locksmithing and joinery.
Essential criteria
Commencing Salary: $78619.00 - $91006.00 per annum plus 12% superannuation.
You will be required to undertake employment checks which may include a Criminal History Check Qualification Check Working with Children Check Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test as relevant to the position for which you have applied. Where a Criminal History Check is required and has returned a result that indicates disclosable court outcomes you will be required to provide a copy of the report to Penrith City Council for review in order to progress through the recruitment process.
