About the role
Join Ventia as a Maintenance Supervisor and manage a skilled team of trades delivering critical maintenance services across Defence sites. Be part of a high-impact nationally significant operation in a dynamic environment
Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Oversee planned maintenance and repair works including audits and optimisation of assets
- Provide on-going support and leadership to the trades and maintenance tea
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and Defence contracts
- Actively supports and participates in transformation programs
- Ensures work order allocation to timesheets is accurate.
- Oversees contractor safety frameworks including SWMS onsite compliance to Ventia Critical Risk Protocols.
- Proactive contractor management of all key performance metrics within the month.
- Ensure contractual compliance through site assessments and initiate necessary work orders or quotes
- Manage client requests and feedback ensuring timely resolution and clear communication
About you
- Minimum of trade qualification (HVAC Plumbing Electrical).
- Trade licence highly desirable.
- Willingness and ability to act as a nominee supervisor.
- Willingness and ability to travel interstate
- Proven experience in operational leadership within Defence or similar complex environments
- Working knowledge of WHS legislation WHS committees and safety culture development
- Demonstrated experience supervising subcontractors and liaising directly with clients
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficient computer skillsintermediate level in Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook
- A valid C-class drivers license
- Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police.
