Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingCertified Occupational Therapist Assistantfor an exciting Travel or Local job inSanta Clara CA.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in evaluating and treating patients under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to improve patients physical cognitive and daily living skills.
Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises adaptive techniques and use of assistive devices.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
Qualifications:
Current California state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant required.
Minimum of 12 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to patient-centered care and professional ethics.
