Job Overview
The Production Supervisor provides leadership and direction for their assigned department ensuring operational excellence through safety quality and productivity. They are accountable for building high-performingteams by hiring developing and motivating employees while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Thursday
- 4:00pm - 2:00am
*This position will train DAYS Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm for an extended amount of time before transitioning into an evening shift.
Highlights of your role
Hire train and develop team members to build a strong talent pipeline.
Mentor Assistant Supervisors and prepare them for roles of increased responsibility.
Conduct performance evaluations provide feedback and administer corrective actions fairly and consistently.
Foster a positive inclusive culture that promotes engagement and reduces turnover.
Address employee concerns promptly andmaintainopen communication.
Ensure compliance with company policies safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Monitor daily operations to achieve production quality and safety goals.
Oversee cross-training and line balancing tooptimizeworkforce flexibility.
- Maintainaccuratedocumentation and reporting for department activities.
Lead problem-solving efforts forescalatedissues and remove barriers to success.
Drive strategic planning and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Investigate quality concernsidentifyroot causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Collaborate across departments to align resources and achieve companyobjectives.
Youre a good fit if you have (or if you can)
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- 12 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis.
- Proventrack recordof meeting production quality and safety goals.
- Exposure tocross-functional collaboration and employee development.
- To perform this job successfully an individual should haveabilityto use Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook etc.)
