Job Description:
A Sr Associate Material Planning & Tooling Control Analyst at L3Harris in Huntsville AL. This is a Sr Associate-level position focused on planning scheduling and controlling materials and production tooling to meet manufacturing and program needs. Key responsibilities include supporting manufacturing schedules managing inventory with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system like Oracle and coordinating with various departments to ensure timely completion of production. The role requires strong organizational skills communication abilities and often a Bachelors degree in a field like Supply Chain or Business.
Essential Functions:
- Production support: Manage components and materials to support the manufacturing schedule.
- Inventory control: Perform inventory management tasks including move orders and physical counts to ensure accuracy.
- Material and tooling control: Control and monitor the flow of materials and tooling needed for production.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between production engineering and other departments to communicate needs and resolve issues.
- System usage: Use an ERP system (such as Oracle) to manage production plans and inventory.
- Skills: The role requires strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to work with an ERP system.
- Experience: While it is an Sr Associate level prior experience in manufacturing production planning or supply chain roles is beneficial.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior Material Management experience; or a Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior Material Management experience; or in lieu of a degree minimum of 6 years of prior Material Management experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain or Business is preferred.
