  • Salary between $62095 - $67 550 per annum depending on experience

About the Role

The key purpose of the Receptionist - Ophthalmology role is to provide efficient and timely patient reception services as well as administrative support to the Ophthalmology Service.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Provide patient reception services greeting patients and other visitors on arrival and facilitating their timely admission to the Ophthalmology Service
  • Delivering consistent skilled and high-quality customer service
  • Provide appropriate and timely information to departmental visitors
  • Scanning and uploading documents to patient clinical information port
  • Assisting booking administrators with scanning and filing tasks
  • Contribute to team and other initiatives that seek to improve patient and whanau experiences and/or staff experience of work

About you

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • At least two years administration experience
  • High standard of interpersonal communication skills including written and verbal
  • Strong knowledge of office systems and procedures
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work well in a team and foster good interpersonal relationships
