In the role of Corporate Development - Summer Intern you will support key corporate growth initiatives across multiple business units through financial analysis efforts. Its an excellent job for people who are interested in corporate finance and M&A strategy and the energy sector and who are self-motivated team players.

Placement Details:

This is a 4 month placement starting in May 2026 located in Calgary.

What you will do:

  • Support the evaluation and approval of growth projects acquisitions divestitures and other corporate initiatives undertaken by Corporate Development and Investment Review by conducting sub-sector analysis benchmarking and relevant financial analysis and supporting other due diligence efforts as required.
  • Create presentations and other materials for discussion of opportunities with senior management team
  • Support the team in regular screening exercises and market research

Who you are:

  • You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program studying Business or Economics and will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term.
  • Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Course work and basic understanding of corporate finance and accounting.
  • Basic understanding of capital markets
  • Ability to work in a flexible team environment as well as independently.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook).
  • Understanding of North American energy sector considered an asset
  • Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridges core values (Safety Integrity Respect Inclusion High Performance).

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based role located in Calgary AB
  • Relocation assistance is not provided.

Please note that this is a role providing contract labour to Enbridge through Raise who manages Enbridges Student Contractor Program. If you are selected for this position you will be employed by Raise and will not be an employee of Enbridge.
