Job Summary

Are you a newly qualified Art Teacher eager to start your teaching career in a supportive creative environment

Are you a newly qualified Art Teacher eager to start your teaching career in a supportive creative environment An Ofsted Good school in Cambridge is looking to appoint an Art ECT for a January start on a full-time permanent basis.

The successful candidate will teach across KS3 and KS4 encouraging students to explore creativity self-expression and artistic technique. Youll receive a reduced timetable during your induction year and the full support of an experienced Head of Department and ECT mentor.

School Information:
This Cambridge school is known for its inclusive ethos and strong pastoral support. The Art department is well-resourced featuring large studios dedicated gallery spaces and access to digital design tools. Staff collaborate closely to share lesson ideas and ECTs are fully supported with mentoring and classroom observation feedback.

Behaviour is excellent and the school values creativity as a key part of its curriculum. Teachers are encouraged to bring innovation into lessons and to showcase student artwork through exhibitions and competitions.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • PGCE with QTS (Art specialism)

  • Passion for developing artistic talent and confidence

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Salary: Paid on MPS1MPS2.
