About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our logistics and warehouse operations team. This hands-on role is crucial to maintaining smooth order flow inventory accuracy and the timely handling of essential spare parts.
Youll be working across logistics coordination warehouse management and spares handling ensuring our operations run efficiently and safely every day.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Coordination
- Shipping & Receiving: Coordinate all incoming and outgoing shipments (domestic and international) prepare documentation (bills of lading commercial invoices packing lists) and ensure compliance with customs regulations.
- Carrier Management: Track and manage shipments proactively communicating any delays or issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of logistics activities including proofs of delivery (PODs) and shipping manifests.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline logistics processes and reduce lead times.
Warehouse Operations
- Material Handling: Unload inspect stage and store incoming materials safely and efficiently.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick pack and prepare outgoing shipments according to sales orders or work requests.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean organized and compliant with safety standards.
- Equipment Operation: Operate material handling tools (e.g. pallet jacks) safely and effectively.
Inventory & Spares Handling
- Inventory Control: Perform cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
- Spares Management: Organize store and issue spare parts efficiently.
- System Updates: Process all material movements (receipts transfers issues) in the ERP system accurately.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in logistics warehousing or inventory control.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of inventory management principles and ERP system proficiency.
- Logistics Knowledge: Familiarity with domestic and international shipping procedures and trade documentation.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift boxes and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
