Role: SEO Content Writer Intern (Remote India). This is a hands-on internship ideal for early-career writers who want to build SEO expertise a strong content portfolio and practical experience with analytics-driven publishing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Write clear engaging and SEO-optimized long-form blog posts landing pages and short-form social content from briefs.
- Perform keyword research and map target keywords to content topics using SEO tools; create simple content outlines.
- Optimize on-page elements: titles meta descriptions headers image alt text and internal linking for search performance.
- Publish and format content in WordPress; apply SEO plugin recommendations and basic HTML edits for readability and crawlability.
- Collaborate with the SEO/marketing team to refine briefs incorporate feedback and iterate on drafts quickly.
- Track content performance with Google Analytics and Google Search Console; recommend updates to improve rankings and engagement.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Portfolio with 23 published SEO-optimized articles or writing samples (links preferred)
- Familiarity with WordPress and basic HTML for publishing and formatting
- Hands-on experience with keyword research and on-page SEO best practices
- Comfort using Google Analytics or GA4 to review content metrics and user behavior
- Ability to follow content briefs and deliver concise audience-focused copy on deadlines
Preferred
- Experience with Ahrefs or SEMrush to identify keyword opportunities and monitor backlinks
- Familiarity with Yoast SEO or Rank Math and using plugin recommendations to optimize posts
- Interest or background in career development edtech HR-tech or recruitment topics
