This position is for a Sr Quality Assurance Technician who works under immediate supervision. Assists with the development and implementation of program quality plans and procedures. Assists with quality analyses and inspections. Assists with the preparation of Quality Assurance materials.

Seeking qualified individuals experienced with quality control methods and techniques including First article in-process and final assembly inspections; quality assurance provisions of special processes destructive and nondestructive inspections; manufacturing processes; airworthiness

assurance;developing/implementingquality control systems/procedures; testing procedures; and use of FAA-approved type design data. Applicants must possess airworthiness and manufacturing knowledge skills and abilities and maintain the highest degree of objectivity while performing authorized functions on behalf of the FAA.

What You Will Do:

Maintains quality data records compiles information and prepares reports for internal and external customers.
Performs preliminary review and Material Review Board analysis and disposition of nonconforming material.
Provides support to manufacturing operations in the review of products and of engineering and manufacturing processes.
Performs product audits in accordance with RockwellCollins/customer/industrystandards reports results assigns and monitors follow-up actions.
Performs duties required by the Quality Management System.
Applies quality standards for receiving in-process and final inspection in accordance with Rockwell Collins and contractual requirements

Qualifications You Must Have:

HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
A minimum of 3 years Collins inspection experience.

Qualifications We Prefer::

Team Lead experience
Ability to interpret assembly drawings
Inspector experience for in-process or final acceptance
Current or prior FAA Certification

The salary range for this role is 40000 USD - 82000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
