About the Role

As an Apprentice with I&T you will have a fantastic opportunity to study and learn in a fast paced environment as well as working towards an the Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard. The training we provide will be tailored to your individual needs alongside your role in the team with off the job learning and support delivered by the Councils Adult Learning Service. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills through gaining practical experience of providing supportto users of our highest profile Business applications within the will include the processing of IT access requests performing a triage role on incoming requests and processing simple 1st line calls toaresolution for IT business is a real opportunity to gain experience in how real world applications are used supported configured and maintained and how they ultimately contribute to the successful provision of Social Care and Education support services to the people of Leicestershire.

About You

To apply for this post you must have:

  • Education to GCSE Standard at Grades A-C (4-9) for a minimum of 5 GCSEs
  • Willingness to study in line with your training plan and complete end point assessment.
  • Practical experience of using computers and basic ICT skills
  • Able to demonstrate a flexible innovative and positive approach
  • Can communicate effectively at all levels
  • Strong customer focus
  • Good telephone manner

Apprenticeship Overview
Expected apprenticeship duration:15 months
Apprenticeship level:Advanced (Level 3)
Programme:L3 Business Administrator
During this apprenticeship you will follow a fully supported training programme with our Adult Learning Service Work Based Learning Team delivered through combined workplace training assessment and online learning working towards completing the L3 Business Administrator standard.

We also expect you to shareour commitment to our valuesand will ask you to evidence when you have demonstrated them as part of the selection process.
