Position Summary:
Vita Nova is seeking a compassionate and motivated Career Coach to support young adults (ages 1824) by providing career planning life skills development and job readiness this role you will work at the Spot drop-in center and in the community to guide young adults toward education employment and stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop individualized career plans and deliver job readiness training
- Provide supportive case management and life skills coaching
- Connect youth to employment education and support services
- Facilitate group workshops and partner with employers and agencies
- Track progress and outcomes using HMIS and internal systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in social services or related field preferred
- 1 year experience working with youth or young adults preferred
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and positive youth development
- Understanding of PBC homelessness system a plus
- Strong documentation and client engagement skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must pass Level 2 background check and drug screen
- Valid FL drivers license and reliable transportation required
