Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing assistance to the students and the Instructor for Carpentry and as needed in the Electrical Trades Program. The aide will assist the Instructor; working with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of material or skills initially introduced by the teacher. Focus of the position is to help prepare students to be successful in their lab providing assistance to the instructor with regards to lab safety and training. Minimum Qualifications:An Educational Aide Permit will need to be acquired through the Ohio Department of Education. Must have a good knowledge and thorough understanding of Construction area. High School Diploma is a minimum qualification and preference will be given to applicants with construction experience. Must enjoy working with struggling : Salary will be prorated at an hourly rate based on experience. The five and one/half hour work day will be for the remainder of the 187 day contract during the 2025/26 school year. Benefits: Paid sick leave personal leave and School Employees Retirement System.
