What Youll Build

The SAP Mexico Next Gen program is a global-minded strategic paid graduate program that provides recent university graduates with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than a graduate program its the foundation for a career built on connection creativity and impact.

Location: Monterrey México

Expected Start: November/December 2025*

Duration: 24 Months

Schedule: 40 HR/week

We are looking for a motivated early-career Machine Learning & AI Young Professional with a strong interest in software development data science and cloud technologies to join our dynamic international team.

In this role youll gain hands-on experience designing building and supporting internal AI and ML tools for IT and business projects. Youll have the opportunity to learn and work with cutting-edge technologies such as CausalAI ML Large Language Models (LLMs) Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Python-based frameworks while understanding how to deploy and maintain AI-driven systems in cloud or hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and deployment of AI/ML models with exposure to LLMs (e.g. GPT Transformer models).
• Learn to implement solutions leveraging Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques to enhance contextual response generation.
• Support fine-tuning of pre-trained models for domain-specific applications.
• Gain hands-on experience using Python and ML frameworks (e.g. Pandas AI CausalAI Graph) for prototyping and experimentation.
• Project Implementation
• Participate in end-to-end ML project activities from requirement gathering to testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into AI solutions under supervision.
• Support optimization scalability and reliability improvements for ML models in production environments.
• Assist in testing monitoring and debugging models and code.
• Gain exposure to containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes) for scalable infrastructure management.
• Learn about open telemetry tools and observability practices for deployed AI solutions.
• Telemetry & Networking (Learning Area)
• Learn to integrate OpenTelemetry solutions for real-time monitoring of AI pipelines and systems.
• Participate in automation and deployment initiatives leveraging CI/CD pipelines and MLOps practices.

What Youll Bring

• Recently graduated with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Data Science or a related field.
• Academic or project experience in Python programming.
• Familiarity with foundational machine learning concepts including NLP and deep learning.
• Curiosity about Large Language Models (LLMs) Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and AI-driven systems.
• Interest in cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) for AI/ML workloads.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic international and fast-paced environment.
