Were searching for a London based Senior Manager of Revenue Reporting to join our Global Controller team so that we can strengthen the accuracy quality and efficiency of our revenue reporting across the business. The Senior Manager Revenue Reporting will play a key role in driving improvement to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition and reporting for our $500m global business supporting RLDatixs growth and financial transparency.
How Youll Spend Your Time
- Lead the month end revenue recognition process ensuring accuracy completeness and timely delivery.
- Review and reconcile deferred and accrued revenue balances proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Partner closely with global Finance Business Partners to provide guidance and ensure consistent compliant revenue reporting.
- Establish and own key processes including new contract reviews to enhance internal controls and reporting integrity.
- Collaborate with IT teams to identify troubleshoot and resolve system issues affecting revenue data.
- Work closely with Sales Operations and Billings teams to interpret and apply revenue recognition rules for complex or non-standard deals.
- Support external audit processes by responding to auditor requests and providing accurate revenue documentation and analysis.
What Kind of Things Were Most Interested in You Having
- Extensive experience managing end-to-end revenue recognition processes within a SaaS environment.
- Strong understanding of IFRS 15 and ASC 606 principles for revenue from contracts with customers.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and functions building strong cross-departmental relationships.
- Highly self-motivated with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to meet tight reporting deadlines.
- Demonstrated success in driving change and implementing process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel including working with large and complex datasets.
- Familiarity with NetSuite Salesforce and OpenAir platforms (preferred but not essential).
