EVS Floor Technician
Schedule: Day 7:00 am 3:30 pm with every other weekend commitment
Location: Darby PA
Department: Environmental Services
Reports to: Manager Operations Environmental Services
Position Purpose:
Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is looking for a full-time EVS Floor Tech to join our Environmental Services Team!
What You Will Do:
- Responsible for all floor care work including routine mopping (dry and damp) buffing waxing and burnishing all hard surfaces.
- Provides floor maintenance; including but not limited to vacuuming shampooing and extracting carpets stairwells and upholstery.
- Performs preventive maintenance checks on all equipment prior to use and at the end of shift.
- Provides other cleaning services such as dusting routine restroom offices halls and classrooms or other duties as assigned.
- Follow all safety requirements and procedures at all times.
- Required to work holidays as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or equivalency (preferred)
- 1-3 years floor care experience
