Job Summary
Long Term Christian Studies Gr 4-6 Substitute Teacher
Reports To: UE 4-6 Principal
Status: Full-Time/Temporary/Hourly
Schedule: Monday-Friday; 7:10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Starting January 2026 to April 26 2026 Following the School Calendar
Essential Job Functions:
- Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and lesson plans that provide students with creative appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to fulfill their potential for intellectual emotional physical and social growth.
- Conduct ongoing formal and informal assessments of student achievement.
- Establish and maintain open communication with parents and students through a variety of means including face-to-face conversations email phone calls and conferences.
- Maintain accurate complete and current records of student progress achievement and behavior.
- Work collaboratively with faculty and staff.
Job Requirements and Preferences:
- ODE Licensed Elementary Education teacher with grades 4-6 level certification preferred
- Must be a believing Christian who is comfortable in a diverse Christian community
- Follow the teachers lesson plan unit sequence and strategies for learning

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
