Position Overview:
The Hospice Program Director will provide strategic operational and clinical oversight for hospice services ensuring exceptional patient care and full compliance with regulatory requirements. This leader will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize quality enhance patient and family experience and drive sustainable program growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead strategic and day-to-day operations of hospice programs
Ensure compliance with Medicare/Medicaid and all regulatory standards
Partner with clinical and administrative leaders to optimize care delivery
Oversee budgeting staffing and performance outcomes
Drive program development patient satisfaction and staff engagement
Qualifications:
Active RN license in Florida or Compact state
Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in hospice or post-acute care
Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred
No employment gaps exceeding 1 year
Clean licensure history with no disciplinary actions
