Job Skills / Requirements
Guardteck Security is seeking an experienced full-time Site Supervisor in the Lower Mainland to manage a team of 45 staff members. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of security experience and supervisory or shift supervision experience will be considered an asset. A valid BST and OFA 1 certification are required while OFA 2 AST WHMIS and other security-related certifications are preferred.
Shift Details:
- Shifts vary from 911 hours per day
- Normally a 4-day work week from MondaySaturday (can fluctuate depending on operational requirements)
- Shift Timings: hours
- Pay Rate: $23.00$24.50 per hour (depending on experience and certifications)
Requirements:
- Valid Security License
- OFA 1 certification (required)
- OFA 2 certification is considered an asset
- AST WHMIS and other security-related certifications are considered assets
- 2 years of experience in the security industry
- Supervisory or shift supervision experience (required)
- Experience working in a hectic customer service environment (required)
- Experience working at an educational institute is considered an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends as required
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Lead and supervise a team of security professionals
- Ensure daily operations run smoothly and efficiently
- Create high-quality detailed incident and shift summary reports
- Maintain and update site-specific operations procedures
- Monitor CCTV and manage access control systems
- Apply verbal and physical de-escalation techniques as needed
- Exercise sound judgment in handling emergency situations
- Coordinate with the Account Manager for escalated issues
- Mentor and train team members to maintain performance standards
- Conduct audits and inspections as per client requirements
- Deliver excellent customer service while ensuring a safe environment
Certification Requirements (All)
