At Pullman Sydney Olympic Park our signature Bacar Restaurant is known for refined dishes bold flavours and impeccable presentation. Were now seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our talented culinary team and bring their flair to one of Sydneys most exciting dining destinations.
What Youll be doing:
- Work alongside our Executive and Sous Chefs to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
- Lead by example supervising the kitchen in their absence and guiding junior team members.
- Prepare and present dishes with precision creativity and consistency.
- Ensure high standards of food quality safety and presentation across all sections.
- Support in menu development mise en place and maintaining stock control and cost efficiency.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you will be:
- Relevant culinary trade qualifications with proven experience in a similar role ideally in a hotel environment.
- Excellent technical knowledge with experience in a variety of cooking techniques and styles.
- Strong knowledge of contemporary Australian cuisine and seasonal produce.
- A passion for flavour presentation and continuous learning.
- Calm under pressure with great teamwork leadership and communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining food safety and WHS standards.
- Be flexible to work on a rotating roster that includes nights weekends and public holidays.
- Have full working rights in Australia.
