Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail excellent organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for selecting and preparing products for shipment ensuring quality and accuracy at all stages.
- Accurately pick products based on orders using scanners and handheld devices.
- Ensure picked items meet quality and quantity requirements checking for damage or errors.
- Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts and walkie riders (if applicable).
- Maintain clean and organized picking areas to promote safe work practices.
- Assist in the inventory counting process when required.
- Collaborate with team members and follow instructions from supervisors.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 150 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Repetitive lifting of 50 pounds or more.
- Basic math skills and good attention to detail.
- Positive attitude reliability and willingness to learn.
