POSITION SUMMARY:
We are hiring a Human Resources Coordinator to help support our site in Fort Collins Colorado. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for broad support of HR programs and projects across the Fort Collins site. This role will collaborate closely with employees and management in support of corporate policies and daily HR operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides excellent frontline customer service to employees regarding human resource related questions (e.g. employee handbook policies and procedures employee benefits etc.)
  • Supports and advocates corporate policies and guidelines through interactions with business units
  • Assists with communication and transitions during ongoing building moves and renovation
  • Submits change-of-status records and paperwork for all US sites
  • Assists with employee recognition program and awards
  • Collaborates with team members on planning and executing employee events
  • Creates and analyzes employee reports and metrics including headcount turnover time-to-fill etc.
  • Participate in and provide support to a wide variety of HR programs (e.g. Performance Management Talent Management etc.)
  • Assists with interview and selection process
  • Supports local onboarding to enhance new hire experience
  • Works with managers to determine requirements and create job descriptions for new roles. Enters requisitions in the applicant tracking system partnering with talent acquisition on searches.
  • General HR and administrative support of AEs US sites.
  • Other duties as assigned to achieve the overall goals of the HR team

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Location: In office in Fort Collins Colorado
  • Environment: Office lab walking outside between buildings

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Strong computer skills including MS Word Excel PowerPoint databases
  • Ability to obtain verify and evaluate general and statistical information
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong independent initiative
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.


EXPERIENCE:

  • One to three years in an HR function
  • One to three years general administrative support
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel for complex reporting


EDUCATION:

  • A bachelors degree in human resource management or similar
  • OR 2-4 years experience in the HR field
  • OR any similar combination of education and experience

COMPENSATION:

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including but not limited to skill set level of experience and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $20 to $30 per hour.
