Title Clerk

Job Summary
The Title Clerk is responsible for accurately preparing and processing all vehicle title and registration paperwork ensuring compliance with state and local regulations. Youll work closely with the sales and finance departments to deliver a smooth and efficient customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process tag and title documents for all vehicle purchases and trade-ins.
- Electronically submit title and registration paperwork to the appropriate DMV agencies.
- Coordinate out-of-state title transactions with company approved third party vendor.
- Post all title-related transactions and maintain clean and accurate accounting schedules.
- Process customer refunds as necessary ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Provide administrative support to the sales and finance teams assisting with customer inquiries regarding title and registration status.
- Comply with all company policies procedures and safety standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in computer applications and basic math.
- Previous dealership title/DMV experience highly preferred.
- Familiarity with DLR DMV systems is a plus.
