IT Consultant

E-Logic is seeking a highly qualified Information Technology Consultant to support the Dayton Board of Education (Dayton Public Schools District) in conducting a comprehensive assessment and modernization of its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Student Management Systems. The consultant will play a key role in analyzing current business and operational processes defining system requirements and preparing the documentation necessary to procure and implement a modern efficient and scalable ERP solution for the district.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a comprehensive review of DPSDs existing ERP and Student Management Systems including workflows for finance HR payroll procurement and student data.
• Analyze business and operational processes to identify gaps inefficiencies and integration opportunities.
• Develop functional and technical requirements to support the design and implementation of a new ERP solution.
• Create detailed bid documentation process maps and system specifications to support the competitive procurement process.
• Advise DPSD stakeholders on industry best practices system selection criteria and data migration strategies.
• Collaborate with district leadership IT teams and vendor partners to ensure alignment with strategic goals and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Provide ongoing consultative support throughout the evaluation selection and planning phases of ERP system modernization.
• Prepare and present findings recommendations and technical reports to senior district officials and E-Logic leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Computer Science Systems Analysis or a related field (Masters preferred).
• 5 years of experience in ERP consulting system implementation or IT project management.
• Demonstrated experience performing process analysis requirements gathering and system design for large organizations.
• Prior experience working with public sector education or K-12 ERP environments is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of ERP platforms (e.g. Oracle SAP Workday Tyler Munis or similar).
• Proven ability to deliver technical documentation business process models and implementation plans.
• Excellent communication stakeholder engagement and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
• U.S. Citizenship required (must pass background check per district standards).
