Job Summary
We are hiring Unarmed Security Officers to provide Security for an Industrial Manufacturing Plant located in: Owensboro KY
Open & Closing Dates: 11/01/2025 to 12/15/2025

Duties
- (Access Control)
- Monitor entry and exit points.
- Check identification badges or passes.
- Ensure only authorized personnel or visitors enter secure areas.
- (Patrolling)
- Conduct regular foot or vehicle patrols of assigned areas (buildings parking lots perimeters).
- Look for signs of suspicious activity safety hazards or property damage.
- (Surveillance)
- Report or respond to unusual or suspicious activity.
- (Incident Response)
- Respond promptly to alarms disturbances or emergencies (fire medical theft etc.).
- Notify law enforcement fire or medical personnel when needed.
- Assist in evacuations and crowd control during emergencies.
- (Reporting)
- Write detailed daily activity logs and incident reports.
- Document all security-related occurrences accurately and professionally.
- (Customer Service)
- Provide assistance and directions to visitors and employees.
- Serve as a visible approachable security presence that promotes safety and professionalism.
- (Rule Enforcement)
- Enforce company building or property rules and regulations.
- Handle rule violations calmly and respectfully.
- De-escalate conflicts when possible.
- (Safety Inspections)
- Check doors windows and gates to ensure they are secure.
- Inspect safety equipment (fire extinguishers exit lights etc.) for proper function.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional Security experience
- 5 years of experience in Security Law Enforcement or Military (preferred)
- Prior experience in industrial or manufacturing environments (preferred)
- Unarmed positions - no firearm license required
- Excellent communication situational awareness and reliability
- Must pass a background check and Citadel Security USA onboarding
- Professional appearance (tan pants black boots Citadel uniform shirt provided)
- Must be able and or willing to work extended hours weekends and holidays as needed
$18 - $19 an hour
