Were looking for a Product Designer to join our team working on integrations and platform observabilitythe systems that connect our AI platform with external services and enable teams to monitor test and optimize AI performance.
Youll work across two key areas: designing integration experiences that make it easy to connect our platform with external systems like CRM platforms customer service tools and knowledge bases; while partnering with addtional designers and PMs to shape our observability and testing tools that help teams understand AI performance including conversation monitoring interfaces testing workflows and reporting dashboards.
Youll be working in a technical problem space alongside co-located teams in our Bangalore office with mentorship and design guidance from senior designers in the US. This role offers the opportunity to build design presence in our growing India office.
What youll do
- Design integration experiences for connecting external platforms and services including configuration interfaces API connection flows and developer-focused tooling that make complex technical setup accessible
- Create observability and reporting interfaces that help users understand AI performance including conversation monitoring tools test result dashboards and quality metrics visualization
- Design scenario testing workflows that enable teams to validate AI behavior systematically including test creation execution and result analysis interfaces
- Establish patterns for making technical data and system insights comprehensible to both technical and non-technical users
- Contribute to our design system and establish UI/UX patterns that work across configuration-heavy and data-dense interfaces
- Collaborate with co-located engineers in Bangalore to bridge technical concepts and ensure designs are implementable
- Work with product managers across integrations and platform tooling to understand requirements and deliver designs iteratively
- Prototype solutions to validate approaches before full implementation
- Present design work to US-based design team for feedback and alignment with overall product vision
- Participate in design critiques with senior designers who provide mentorship and guidance
What youll need
- 4-6 years of product design experience with a portfolio showcasing technical products developer tools configuration interfaces or internal tooling
- Proficiency in Figma. Youre confident using Figma for design work component libraries and collaborative design processes
- Technical aptitude and strong conceptual thinking. You understand APIs integrations backend systems and can design for technical users without oversimplifying. You translate complex technical requirements into intuitive design solutions that make workflows clear and efficient while maintaining necessary functionality
- Self-directed and productive. You can own an area while being receptive to mentorship and feedback from senior designers
- Excellent communication skills. You present and articulate design decisions to both local engineering teams and remote design teams
- Collaborative mindset. Youre comfortable working with PMs engineers and senior designers across time zones
- Willingness for US time zone overlap. Youre able to attend design meetings and reviews with US-based team members
- Eagerness for in-office collaboration. Youre excited to work alongside co-located engineering and product teams in Bangalore
What wed like to see
- Experience designing integration platforms API tools or developer-facing products
- Understanding of enterprise software integration patterns (webhooks OAuth API keys etc.)
- Experience with observability tools monitoring systems analytics dashboards or reporting interfaces
- Background in designing data visualization or metrics displays that make complex information accessible
- Familiarity with testing frameworks QA tooling or scenario validation systems
- Experience designing for technical users who need both power and clarity
- Experience working in highly technical environments where close collaboration with engineering is essential
- Prototyping skills with tools like React TypeScript or similar
