The Skylark Federation Individual Needs Assistant (SEN Focus)

The Skylark Federation is seeking a caring enthusiastic and committed Individual Needs Assistant (INA) to join our welcoming and friendly team at Barcombe CE Primary School.

This rewarding role will primarily involve working closely with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will be supporting the childs learning and development by helping to create a nurturing inclusive environment where they can thrive socially emotionally and academically.

The successful candidate will:

• Work as part of the class team to deliver engaging learning experiences tailored to the childs individual needs and interests.

• Collaborate closely with the class teacher SENCO and external professionals to ensure consistent and effective support.

• Be patient compassionate and adaptable in responding to the childs needs throughout the school day.

• Liaise effectively with parents/carers and colleagues to promote the childs well-being learning and progress.

Full training and ongoing support will be provided to ensure the successful candidate feels confident in delivering high-quality SEN support. A genuine passion for working with young children and those with additional needs is essential.
