Job Summary
TheDeputy Executive Director Community Careprovides strategic and operational leadership forHome and Community-Based Services (HCBS) including oversight of theCertified Home Health Agency (CHHA). This position is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality compliant and financially sustainable home health services. The role bridges clinical nursing functions with executive management driving organizational excellence across the continuum of care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensiveregulatory clinical operational quality safety and financial oversightfor the CHHA.
Lead organizational planning and execution for bothparent and branch locationsof the CHHA.
Assume fulladministrative authority and accountabilityfor day-to-day operations.
Develop and implement strategies to ensurefinancial stability and operational efficiency.
Overseenursing-related functionsacross all Community Care divisions to maintain high standards of care and compliance.
Ensure compliance with all applicablefederal state and accreditationrequirements (including NYSDOH and JCAHO).
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve performance quality and patient satisfaction goals.
Contribute to long-term strategic initiatives to enhance home and community-based service delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum6 years of progressive experiencein CHHA administration or a combination of CHHA hospital business or public administration roles.
Deep understanding ofhome and community-based care modelsand patient population needs.
Strong knowledge ofCHHA regulations NY State and federal lawsandJCAHO standards.
Proven experience inleadership operations financial managementandstrategic planning.
Excellent interpersonal communication and decision-making skills.
Education & Licensure
Masters degreein Nursing Hospital Administration Healthcare Administration Public Health or a related field required.
Valid RN licensewith current registration fromNYSEDrequired.
BLS certificationrequired.
Pending or current NY State RN licensurestrongly preferred.
