At Fortinet our mission is to safeguard people devices and data everywhere. We are currently seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business.
As a Senior Automation QA Engineer you will:
- Design and maintain automation frameworks using Python Pytest & Playwright tailored for Fortinets cloud-based (AWS/Azure/GCP) environments.
- Lead the development of robust scalable test automation infrastructure ensuring high coverage and fast feedback cycles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development product DevOps and QA) to define review and validate quality requirements across the development lifecycle.
- Design and execute test plans test suites and scripts to validate functionality performance scalability and security.
- Build and optimize load and performance testing frameworks to ensure our products meet enterprise-grade standards.
- Implement monitoring and observability for test and production environments using Grafana DataDog or similar tools.
- Review requirements specifications and technical designs to ensure clarity completeness and testability.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies automation efficiency and CI/CD integrations to accelerate delivery and maintain quality.
- Analyze and report quality metrics test results and defects providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Mentor team members conduct code reviews and help establish best practices in automation and quality engineering.
We Are Looking For:
- 4 years of experience as an Automation QA Engineerin both frontend and backend including test infrastructure design and automation framework development.
- Hands-on with Playwright Selenium or similar tools for UI and integration testing.
- Experience with Python & Pytest in automation and quality assurance contexts.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS Azure or GCP).
- Proven experience developing and maintaining large-scale automation systems and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (functional regression API performance and scalability).
- Hands-on experience with API testing web automation and performance tools (JMeter Gatling or LoadRunner).
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of network protocols (HTTP HTTPS TCP/UDP routing) and cybersecurity concepts (VPNs firewalls).
- Excellent analytical troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Fluent English reading and writing.
