Job Summary

Position Title: SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Location: Hybrid Phoenix AZ (2 3 days onsite per week)

Duration: 12 Months (Contract)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead and support enterprise analytics initiatives within the utility and energy sector. The SAC SME will play a key role in implementing configuring and optimizing SAC solutions with a focus on data visualization planning predictive analytics and integration.

This is a hands-on client-facing role that requires both technical expertise in SAC and the ability to translate business requirements into effective analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design and Implementation

Lead and support the implementation of SAP Analytics Cloud solutions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define reporting requirements and objectives.
Design and develop SAC data models integrating multiple data sources including SAP and non-SAP systems.
Ensure data consistency accuracy and quality across systems and reports.

Analytics and Visualization

Develop dashboards stories and visualizations using SACs advanced capabilities.
Define and implement KPIs and metrics aligned with business and operational goals.
Support planning budgeting forecasting and scenario analysis within SAC.

Predictive and Advanced Analytics

Utilize SACs predictive analytics and machine learning features to identify insights and trends.
Build forecasting and analytical models relevant to the utility or energy domain.

Deployment and Governance

Configure and deploy SAC environments including security roles access controls and data permissions.
Establish best practices for data governance validation and quality management.

End-User Enablement and Support

Deliver user training workshops and technical documentation.
Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for SAC applications.

Required Skills and Experience

Proven hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) including:
- Data modeling and data blending
- Data visualization and storytelling
- Planning budgeting forecasting and scenario analysis
- Predictive analytics and integration capabilities
Strong understanding of data warehousing ETL processes and data quality practices.
Ability to translate complex business requirements into functional analytics solutions.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Must have professional experience within the Utility or Energy industry (at least one project or engagement).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with related SAP technologies such as SAP BW SAP HANA or SAP BPC.
Experience developing analytics solutions in regulated or public sector industries.
