Job Summary

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High school diploma or GED equivalent;
  2. Minimum of five (5) years business office experience with an emphasis on finance and accounting;
  3. Effective written and oral communication interpersonal and organizational skills;
  4. Must be able to collaborate and manage multiple business/financial and accounting projects while managing daily office functions;
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (WORD Excel Powerpoint etc);
  6. Proficient editorial skills for preparing documents for publication;
  7. Compentency in the CFISD proficiency test (score 85 or above and a minimum of 50 wpm typing skills).

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

250 days

SALARY/PAYGRADE:

$49363 CP 8

Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Prepare correspondence and create forms presentations and reports for the Assistant Superintendent of Support Services.
  2. Arrange conference registrations which may include accommodations and travel for Assistant Superintendent for Educational Support Services
  3. Schedule meetings and calendar appointments for Assistant Superintendent for Educational Support Services
  4. Assist with updates to the Districts website.
  5. Prepare documents for monthly school board agenda.
  6. Maintain budget for Educational Support Services.
  7. Reconcile Absences in Frontline. Assist with FMLA documentation and workers compensation claims.
  8. Maintain the All-Things Interpreters folder used district wide with procedural information forms and a call list to for using interpreters for Special Education screenings testing meetings and therapy.
  9. Track and process payments for services provided by Interpreters
  10. Maintain department staff directory emergency information and department email groups
  11. Process monthly mileage for staff
  12. Assist District 504 coordinator with budget HB payroll and mileage
  13. Conference registrations for district and dept staff
  14. Order badges for district and department staff
  15. Manage facility needs/process work orders communicate with custodians and other departments regarding department needs.

Work with frequent interruptions maintain emotional control under stress. Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer.
