The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Manager Supplier Program Mgmt. to join our team in Berkeley MO or Seattle WA.
Position Responsibilities:
First Line Manager is responsible for organizing and leading supplier recovery and resiliency initiatives with suppliers to support business needs.
Managing a team responsible for the partnership with supply chain teams and suppliers to improve performance and ensure long-term resiliency
Leading a team of approximately 15 with scope for critical supplier performance engagement and responsibilities for the team members professional development.
Manage team members performing activities related to supplier recovery and resiliency to achieve Key Performance Indicators. Collaborates across functions and business units to ensure supplier success and innovation.
People Management - Staffing employee development coordinating employee training and supporting all program and functional objectives.
Collaboration and teamwork - The development of a professional approach that ensures collaboration and teamwork across functions and business units enabling supplier success
Leads key initiatives whilst focusing on the team to routinely review key data supporting executional performance key performance indicators (KPIs) and continuous improvement which will assist with driving efficiencies and best practice.
Adept practitioner of Seek Speak and Listen/Psychological Safety principles across all activities whether people or program focused.
Relationship Management - Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers suppliers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.
Continuous improvement with applying best practice to improve efficiency addressing capacity requirements and developing strategy for growth.
Accountability Ensures accountability from all stakeholders to enable supplier success
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Minimum of 8 years of Supply Chain/Engineering experience ideally in management and leadership roles.
Experience in Supply Chain Lifecycle Management Planning Operations Inventory Repairs
Experience supporting and leading cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience working with suppliers on performance recovery
Experience in communicating at all levels including executive leadership
Lean/Operational knowledge
Credit Check: This position will require a credit check.
Travel: This position requires travel up to 50% of the time.
