JOB SUMMARY
The National Institute for Undersea Vehicle Technology (NIUVT) at the University of Connecticut seeks qualified applicants for a Financial Assistant 1. NIUVT is a dynamic work environment with this position housed in the Innovation Partnership Building (IPB) on the Storrs campus and involving collaboration with students and faculty across various departments within UConns College of Engineering. Under the direction of the UConn Director of NIUVT and the Financial Officer this position provides support in expanding and maintaining NIUVTs research efforts.
The successful candidate will possess the skills to effectively communicate the prescribed requirements and practices to students faculty and stakeholders. This is an on-site position with occasional travel within Connecticut and Rhode Island to meet with NIUVT personnel and partners.

This is a full-time end-dated position with the possibility of renewal subject to performance and funding.
